Ask the most renowned craftsmen and women in any industry, and they’ll tell you that there’s no substitute for the right tool for the job, and if you’re looking for heavy duty flooring that can stand up to the rigors of your commercial or industrial environment, we’ve got the right tools for that job. No other flooring options will do – the PVC and industrial rubber mats have no equal in terms of their reliability, performance and convenience. You can skip the power tools, adhesives and intensive labor that other flooring options will require – the interlocking tiles are easily installed, replaced, cleaned, and maintained.
You’ve got a couple of options since the world of heavy duty flooring isn’t exactly a one-size-fits-all sort of place. The first thing to consider is whether you need flooring that can give a little bit. We carry commercial grade rubber mats that squish just enough to create a slightly softer environment, which is great for a gym or similar area where comfortable flooring is one of the highest priorities. The rubber is strong enough to withstand a lot of foot traffic and the use of heavy machinery that might be a little too much for the EVA options to handle, and it won’t get slick (even when wet) so you reduce the risk of accidents among your patrons.
The other heavy duty option is PVC, which is better suited to something like a garage or a warehouse, where you still need something to go over the installed flooring to protect the property’s value, but the majority of what the mats will have to resist is mechanical or chemical. In a garage, for example, you’re more interested in putting something between your car and the floor, as opposed to a gym or clinic where you need something between your feet and the flooring.
After that, the heavy duty PVC mats come in two textures – one smooth, and one with a coin top texture that creates a little more surface area to get traction with. If you’re not sure which style would be best for the environment you’re interested in applying it to, don’t hesitate to contact us – we’ll work with you to figure it out!
