It’s probably a safe bet that everyone has, at some point, tried a fitness routine, and then promptly walked away from it. That’s totally fine—nobody ever said you have to like every workout. You can absolutely get the body type and toning you want and never do a single pushup, if pushups happen to be your Achilles’ heel. You’ll have to find some other way to work those muscles, but the point is that there’s more than one way to go about exercise; it’s all about what’s most comfortable for you, and sticking to that. One thing that’s constant across routines though, is that hard floors make for unhappy gym rats. So do yourself a favor, and pick up some EVA foam flooring mats for your home fitness area.
After all, sticking to a fitness routine is ultimately about your level of comfort with it, and with some supportive foam mats underneath you, you’ll not only stick with your routine, you’ll actually look forward to it.
